Edward! How wonderful to hear from you. Yes, there are so many story lines concerning God and the Bible and Jesus, and so many of the new voices seem to have found "the truth." So we all of us really have to be careful and go slow and be discerning.
I read someone the other day who published something so unique in my daily pile of reading, but as I continued digging into his academic work, I could see the slant beginning. I knew he was really on a mission to move me to a certain ending, little by little. Thank God for all the voices out there, because many of them really do help us understand God and His ways better. However It's not for nothing that Jesus warned us repeatedly about the false messengers in the last days. Keep fighting the good fight!
I misspoke when speaking of the reformers and I listed Wesley. I meant to say Luther. John Wesley had nothing to do with the Reformation
